About Professional RV Inspections:
Our company was formed out of the frustration we experienced over many years of buying and selling RV's, and the lack of professional all inclusive inspections available to buyers who are buying a new RV from across the country. In talking on the forums and to friends, we learned that almost everyone who has purchased, or attempted to purchase a luxury RV, especially an expensive motor coach, has had a bad experience or had to cancel a sell only after flying across the country on a one way airline ticket to find out the unit was not as advertised or had issues that were a deal killer for the buyer. Even worst is when you don't feel "right" about the coach once you get there, but buy it out of the pressure you feel because you have already flown there on a one way ticket and were picked up at the airport by the seller - you are at their mercy!
If you have attempted to schedule "impartial" inspections, you have most likely noticed it is nearly impossible. The dealer or consignment lot will sell you an overpriced inspection for $1000-$1500, but not only are you purchasing an inspection from someone who wants you to buy the coach, if you read what the inspections includes you will often find it only covers the basic RV systems and appliances like the stove, fridge, furnace, hot water heater, and that the engine starts and runs. When you ask about everything else that needs to be inspected, you will be referred to Cummins or Cat for an engine checkout, AquaHot for a certified inspection of that system if equipped, then be sent over to Freightliner or another truck chassis shop for a chassis inspection for the air system, air brakes, suspension / air bags, etc. If you have tried to do this, you will find that it is impossible to schedule all these inspections and then get the dealership or seller to agree to drive the coach all over town and spend hours at each shop to do these inspections for you. This means a long distance luxury motor coach purchase is risky to the buyer every time. Sometimes we luck out and get a good solid coach, and other times we end up spending thousands on repairs on the way home or once we get home with our new coach.
Marrs Professional RV Inspections was created to solve these problems. We are completely independent of any dealership or seller, and we have the expertise to conduct a complete inspection from bumper to bumper, including all the RV systems, mechanical, engine, suspension, frame, body, slide outs, generator, etc. so you can buy with confidence without any ugly surprises when you arrive to pick up your coach, or worst, when you are half way home with your new coach!
Our exhaustive inspection for a typical diesel pusher with air brakes takes about 8 hours. We travel with all the modern electronic equipment and computers to plug in to the diagnostic systems to truly read the health of the engine and drive train. We conduct an onsite oil analysis to find internal problems that are otherwise undetectable. Simply stated, we believe we are the very best at what we do, and I have not found any other company that does nothing but pre-buy inspections to the extent we do.
As soon as our inspection is over, you receive a comprehensive report that is easy to read and understand. Our report includes photos of any problems we detect, and also includes photos of any stains, paint blemishes, or cosmetic issues that were most likely not included in all the photos the seller sent you. Also, many times we find simple problems that we can repair during the inspection process free of charge or for the cost of the part only while we are there.

Although we are sometimes able to fit last minute inspections in our schedule, the best way to insure we can serve you is to give us as much notice as possible. We are based out of Denver, Colorado and fly throughout the lower 48 states to conduct our inspections.
